The 2012 AMazeBot competition show will happen at the following place and time:

Mohawk College, Fennell campus, room I-109
April 4 Wednesday, 12:00 to 13:00

Students began working on their bots in January, and have 3 months in total to get their bots in top shape. On the event day, we run the competition on a big screen in front of many spectators. All of the bots are put through a challenging 5 rounds of mazes. Here is an example screen (not real competitors) from 2009:

The mazes used in the competition are not known to the programmers. For first 4 rounds we use randomly generated mazes. Then, for the 5th and final round, we unveil our custom hand-drawn maze (which tends to be the most difficult!). In the end the winners are determined and prizes distributed.

Much fun is had by all, and we encourage everyone to come watch the show and support our students.
